5. I agree. However, if the courts are ruling that you can throw ballots out if they aren't dated correctly, then you

have two choices.

1. Date it manually like it says.
2. Don't, and take your chances that the courts will allow it if they try to throw it out for that reason.

If it is up to me I will do the former.

Then again I live in California, and they accept the post-marked date, and the only requirement is a signature.
