House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) joined CNN on Wednesday to discuss his investigation into the Epstein Files and the recent document release from his committee.
Now for more on the Epstein case and the fallout on Capitol Hill, Republican Congressman and Chairman of the Oversight Committee, James Comer of Kentucky. Thank you so much for coming on. You are leading the Epstein probe in Congress and you released many documents last night, began anchor Pamela Brown.
Certainly did, Mr. Chairman. Thanks so much for being with us. Democrats on your committee say ninety-seven percent of the Epstein-related documents from the U.S. Justice Department released to the American people last night were already public. What do you say to that? pressed Wolf Blitzer.
Well, the 3% that werent publicthats 3% more than Joe Biden released when he was president. Look, President Trump is complying with our subpoena, with my subpoena. Hes turning over documents. We posted 34,000 last night. We expect to get more documents, Comer replied, conceding the document dump was comprised of mostly already public materials.
