I wrote it was a picture of Oswald. I never said anyone said it was of Patel and nobody said it was a picture of Patel.

yes, it is a photo, it is of Oswald, and any controversy about it bogus shit.

There is a controversy about the photo, of course, all ginned up by the conspiracy theorists around. They like to cynically pretend that organizations never change and have corrupt lineages traceable to the current regime while they discount well known facts, so I simply pointed out that Patel was not involved. It is a noteworthy aspect of authoritarian regimes that they lie about everything, not to get people to believe their lies, but to get people to disbelieve everything. That kind of erosion in public consciousness must be resisted. Conspiracy theorists are such tools of others and they are clueless about that aspect.
