I'm 63 and it wasn't the plan. I was hoping to go a few more years but the culmination of events which included a newly assigned horrifically inept flight commander coupled with Kegsbreath and DOGE threats made it a no brainer. 31 March was my last day of work and (so far so good) receiving full pay til 31 Dec, followed by retirement.
