(24,639 posts)42. Could be a Mix of Performative,  and a bit of Geuine Ourage...
        Unfortunately many, if not all recent, current Republicans  harbor at leadt some to all of this sewagey thinking.
There was a time when there were liberal republicans in the late '60s, early '70s.
But at least some suffering job loss is good for their hideous, and heinious verbiage.
Words have consequences, at least sometimes. 
Oh, and Vance's "peatl clutching" comnent - FU, dude.
