Totally missed the point, but you keep on being you.

Now, if I were to answer in kind, I might say, "I hope it doesn't rain where you are, because you'll have to wait for the Auto Club to come wipe the lense everytime you wanted to back up." But instead I will reiterate, yes it adds a bit of safety and even convenience. Yes, your vehicle should have working systems but the point is, it doesn't require a stop the world from rotating, National recall, just a notice. If it's not working, bring it on by, we'll fix it. They didn't even say it's not working but only has a problem if light hits the lens a certain way. So, it's maybe, an adjustment.
