I would not be surprised if a bunch of "settlements" get put up and suddenly, it's Israeli territory, so they have to take some more land, because they need a "buffer zone"....and then, more settlements in that zone, requires more "buffer" and so forth until Lebanon (and the people of Lebanon) no longer exist.

That seems to be the plan.
