2. There is a time in our lives that we make decisions based on outcome.

It may be paying a fine for a parking ticket or a late fee at the library. Maybe an overdraft charge is what it takes to change a behavior or not noticing that a cashier rang up an item twice before we become more attentive. Other times it has nothing to do with money. If a restaurant drops your reservation, phone calls go unanswered, or a friend that is always late are other reasons to change how we do things. It comes down to never again will I deal with that. It is hard to imagine how a company, an industry, or a country would not change in the same way. I guess if the goal of the current administration is to become more isolated from the rest of the world they wouldn't see this as a problem.
