6. I had the same problem but now

I can donate. I was stationed in England in the late 80s and again in the mid 90s. Because I spent so much time In England when the had the Mad Cow disease I was unable to donate. That prevented me from donating for over 20 years. About two years ago, that prohibition was removed and I began donating blood and platelets. So far, I've donated over a gallon but I will continue to donate.
