6. Clearly she knows good real estate when she sees it

She's claimed it as her own. Can you put something else on the spot to make rebuilding impossible? I had a robin's nest just outside my sunroom, in the crook of the drainpipe from the eaves. I had the pleasure of watching at the moment her babies decided to go out on their own. They were nearly fully grown, standing shoulder to shoulder on the edge of the nest, seemingly discussing whether Mom was coming back with groceries. At the same moment, they took off. So amazing. Another robin built a nest on that spot the following year, but a spring storm blew it away.
