Roast beef (prime rib if possible) and sharp cheddar on sour dough with dill pickle BF mayo, brown mustard and shredded lettuce; cold sandwich.

Eat most often:

Honey ham and Swiss on sour dough or rye with dill pickle or pepperoncini, BF mayo, and brown mustard; cold sandwich.

Heaven (my recipe):

Matsutake mushroom and sharp cheddar on sourdough with garlic and mayo, hot sandwich.

recipe: cut 1/2 inch steaks of Matsutake and cook but still firm in butter with slices of garlic. Lightly mayo both sides of sour dough and place mushroom, garlic rounds and sharp cheddar and grill in the garlic butter; hot sandwich.

Have made with morels but need Matsutake for thick "steaks".

Fresh wild mushrooms.
