5. we had rain @ tic toc base in sonopra ca and idaho yesterday and day befor , had snow .:)

many a time when mom and i were on amtrak in the 80s and 90s we got slo orders due to the welded rails kinking. on one of the connectors , we were routed to a bus as the line we were to travel on was closed . and on the other hand we haver been ton trains where the tracbed was too wet.
