(21,440 posts)47. My mom ate all the chocolate off a can of
Chocolate covered peanuts, and put the nuts back in the can on the buffet. Afew days later, our daughter and her fiance stopped by while they were riding a motorcycle. My husband and I were rearranging the back bedroom and didn't immediately come out to the living room to greet them. When we did come out, they were eating the peanuts from the can my Mom had left on the buffet. We were mortified. I managed to get the nuts put away and give them something else. That happened 30 years ago, and we never spilled the beans. And I never will!
