172. I don't remember the name, but ...

... about 10 or 15 years ago on one of the cable movie channels I get I saw a WWII movie set in a city in Poland about a city sanitation worker who had access to the underground sewers in the city. The man hid about a couple dozen Jews in the sewers, along with the rats, trash and sewage. Those people were down there for several years until the war ended. The sanitation worker looked out for them, did what he could to protect them, keep them hidden, bring them fresh water and food. That man was a hero, an Oscar Schindler-like hero. I would love to see it again and I keep hoping it will show up somewhere on cable again.
