(70,714 posts)63. I think if 1960's Jefferson Airplane never existed,
this song would be remembered as a catchy 80s pop song about the joys of rock and roll, and how it can transport us out of mundane everyday life.
But when people listen to Grace Slick, they want to hear White Rabbit and game-changing psychedelia.
I always enjoy WBTC. I thought it was cool that radio stations around the country would insert their own station identification riff into the San Francisco-based interlude when playing the single on the air.
