A Soviet film made by Japanese director Akira Kurosawa, his only non-Japanese-language film.
Won the Academy Award for best international feature film in 1976.
Here is someone's overview
Overview
"Dersu Uzala" is epic in form yet intimate in scope. Set in the forests of Eastern Siberia at the turn of the century, it is a portrait of the friendship that grows between an aging hunter and a Russian surveyor. A romantic hymn to nature and the human spirit, it boasts a performance by Maxim Munzuk as the wise and wizened old man of the Taiga

The movie is very interesting as well as the story of the movie. Look it up on Wikipedia.
Think about it, a Soviet film about Czarist Russia made by a Japanese director.
Watch it if you can,
Sorghum Crow

"Hidden Figures" for sure. It's hidden history of NASA, early space flight and three genius Black women.

There should be a word that is defined as 'nostalgia for a place you've never been to'.

Great movie. Mel Brooks and Anne Bancroft's only movie together was a remake of this.
