I hate phones. Text based communication I don’t mind. There is no real time or “human” aspect to it .it is nice and distant. You can answer at your pace or not..

I liked the couple who close the door and breathe a sigh of relief.

(The worst torture you can inflict on someone is fill their house with disgusting interactive technology that mimics human interaction imo. Terrible ideas that suggest themselves to one these days. If someone were to fill my house with shit like that, any govt officials that signed off on it and any techies or other people who worked on it can expect criminal charges (including for implicit force and extortion and harassment).
The only interactions and sounds I want in my home are wildlife sounds uncorrupted by anthropogenic nuisances. Just birdsong/insect noises and the natural rhythms of life with no disgusting and criminal VR/bots/ambient nuisances or other worthless garbage tech. I like to keep my tech and other stuff minimalist.

I like strict light and sound pollution laws so that invasive anthropogenic junk cannot encroach into my home. That sort of land grab should be criminalised. I also hate it when they blare music locally and that’s an overt nuisance you can at least report easily. I don’t come into your spaces-stay out of mine).
