Phil Robertson, the patriarch made comments that were homophobic and racist to GQ Magazine and the brass at A&E Network went ballistic.

Comedian Bill Burr said it best. “What’s wrong with the president of A&E?” “A 72 year old duck hunter, with a beard down to his crotch, that lives in a cabin on the Bayou in Louisiana, and shoots beavers for breakfast, doesn’t have progressive views on gay marriage?” “i’m shocked.” Burr added-”I’m not saying he’s right.” “I’m saying that if Vegas was taking odds, I’d bet my house, my car and everything I own that he’d say it!!!”
