7. I deleted an earlier post about disliking Liam wearing bucket hats because he is known for them.

I think the Stone Roses had a lot to do with rock fans copying a musician wearing bucket hats, but that was mostly Reni, their drummer.

If fans want to wear what are still sometimes called Reni hats, fine.

But I don't think frontmen should wear hats that cover much of their face. Liam's worn a bucket hat through every Wembley show so far. He didn't cover his head for the Cardiff shows, or for most of the Manchester shows, and then only a small part of the show. But the fans seeing him at Wembley are not able to see all of his face and his expressions while he's singing or speaking.

I know there are bands that wear masks now, but I always thought that was incredibly stupid.

Oasis was always valued for authenticity, for letting people know what they really thought. And communication includes expressions.

I haven't read any complaints yet about Liam wearing a bucket hat through entire shows. But I'd bet that a lot of his fans at the Wembley shows would have rather seen more of his face than his hat.
