6. This tour is apparently the biggest cultural event in many years there.

It'll be interesting to see if fans for the US shows are just as enthusiastic. But a lot of the fans for US shows will be Brits, along with hardcore fans who flew in from all over the world. Just as the audiences for the UK shows have included fans from all over the world - some flying to the UK because they were worried Oasis might break up again.

I'm glad you're enjoying my posts about the tour, because I will be continuing them. They're fun for me, too, and this tour is a celebration, and hopefully a resurrection, of guitar rock from bands. Which is what powered the British Invasion of the '60s, and classic rock. Which for me is the essence of rock.
