8. Is today's the anniversary of Jerry's passing?

I was in Washington DC and heard on tv around this time in August. I worked with a bunch of deadheads who were grieving Jerry’s passing when I returned to work. I saw the Grateful Dead one New Year’s Eve at the cow palace in SF. Someone gave us 4 free tickets. None of us were deadheads and left at 12:30 am. Just didn’t get to group.
