where the guest has to be VERY special for us to bother with Colbert any more. He and his $75 million and humongous ego can leave latenight any time. Given a chance to meet him in person or even attend the show, I would not bother.

We do, however, like Kimmel more and more lately. If you follow him on Instagram, he is out there in person doing charity stuff all the time. He has, to us, a very "genuine" kind of vibe. Colbert never seems to do anything charitable--he is involved, but always in a way that costs him nothing and is designed around him getting you to donate money. (Sorry for the rant on your post!)
