Mesa has closed bars and restaurants except for take out. [View all]
"Mayor John Giles has signed a proclamation mandating the closure of all restaurants and bars with the exception of drive-through, pick-up and delivery options. In addition, the mandate includes the closure of gyms, fitness centers, work-out studios and entertainment venues like movie theaters, arcades and bowling alleys where people tend to gather. While this is not an exhaustive list, Mayor Giles expects businesses and venues that host gatherings with more than 10 people also comply with the mandate. The mandate will go into effect at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 20."
