Fl State representative Angie Nixon will not be seeking re-election and has started an exploratory committee. [View all]
She has been an active and vocal critic of state and local GOP. In addition she runs a small cafe, Cafe and bookstore that she uses as a community center to help and educate members of her district.

I don't know which higher office she is considering running for but am very pleased to see that she is wanting to continue her efforts to be an advocate for the people of Florida, the Democratic Party and democracy.
