Police believe the shooting stemmed from an ongoing dispute between the Black P. Stones and Gangster Disciples, a law enforcement source said. It was not known if any of the victims were intended targets.

It seems that if we could just break through on this gang problem, the violence would be cut in half. It's a young, predominately male issue--and there must be some way to make progress on this. Aside from the accessibility of guns, we need to find a way for these kids to extract themselves from gang culture.
