This has nothing to do with a sincere consideration of policy.

These SOBs are reacting solely to considerations of optics relative to the moment. They are cold, calculating shils who, though salivating for the opportunity to enact ALEC-sponsored PAC initiatives, feel the "time is not right."

So...the Parkland massacre rained on their legislative parade.

How the hell do we, as a party with an alternate body of thought, purge these people?
