Former Democratic National Convention chair and LSU alumna Donna Brazile gifted her alma mater's library with a piece of history Friday - her papers.
"LSU will receive all of my papers," Brazile said. "Everything."
The gift will include all assessments the DNC received for the 2016 election.
Brazile was at the university's Hill Memorial Library Friday afternoon to discuss her new book, Hacks: The Inside Story of the Break-ins and Breakdowns that put Donald Trump in the White House, and sign copies of it when she made the announcement.
The book has been a source of controversy since Brazile started her press tour for it, with critics accusing her of providing fresh fodder to Republicans demanding a criminal investigation of Hillary Clinton.
