4. What did God have to do with this?

If God was actually involved, the guy's wife wouldn't have been kidnapped by ICE agents.
God provides love for anyone who reaches out to God for it. All we need to do to receive God's love is be open to it. These ICE agents, and the administration who directs their actions, are heavily invested in hate. They have no room for God's love within themselves, and appear to like it like that.
Senator Kennedy did the right thing in this one case, but all the rest of the cruel, inhumane stuff his party is doing appears to be just fine by him.
This looks like a political stunt, done for the purpose of showing what a good guy the Senator is. Meanwhile, thousands of good people are being subject to cruel, and illegal, actions by the Trump government every day.
The nation needs to be de-ICED.
