"Well, duh."

I have a WWII comparison I've put out there many times. Someone recently posted here that they didn't think it was all that good a comparison because what with the vaccines becoming available, this simply won't last as long. However, as that article points out, the long term effects are going to be with us a long time.

The other person also pointed out that we don't have a bombed out infrastructure, which is a valid point.
