Well the MBP did finally meet it's maker in the Macbook in the sky

So I had to replace it. Got the Macbook pro, it has 8 Megs of RAM, the I7 processor and the 750 drive. I gotta say this, I had not realized just how slow my old machine had gotten as it was dying. This thing is FAST. It will make processing sound that much easier.

I left while it was transferring my Time Machine backup. I had a story to cover. I came home and finished the setup. Now here I am working on this machine. It is that much easier.

And one reason why I decided to get another mac? Well apart of all the software I own, the ease of setup and backup. Yes, it is that simple, The second, that macbook lasted nine years. That to me is impressive. My IPAD ONE lasted five. The gear just keeps going. And to me that is important. My computers are a long term investment.
