6. I was planning on buying an 8+ but grabbed a 7+ and got an iPad for $99 with it. Too good to pass up

You might be able to get a great deal on a 7+, which is cheaper to begin with. From what i've read, the 8+ is mostly the same phone, but with a glass back for the optional wireless charging, but obviously more fragile. The screens are the same and the cameras are nearly identical, but the processor on the 8 is faster.

The X was just too much money to me, and i figure the OLED screen will be integrated into all the phones in the subsequent generation.
