The first few times I read the OP, without reading anything else, just to see if my eyes were bad or something, I had no idea what was going on. There was a sock game? Why would there being only one of you negate the existence of socks?

It was like the feeling you get watching a show for the first time, and not knowing how it would end. You get to the end, and you're like...alright, hold on...
