1. taxpayers' funds being "ploughed into" the manufacture of wooden bottles?

I don't understand. Are you *for* using taxpayer funds to research the use of possibly more ecologically bottles, or are you making fun of wooden bottles as a big waste of public money? The name of the company, Pulpex, implies to me that the bottles would be made of wood pulp, which, while not transparent, could be formed into a lightweight biodegradable bottle using a renewable manufacturing material.
