to know that he is exposing corruption. But the headline could be read to mean that he is the corruption - the one who is bought and paid for. Not your fault - you just used the headline that was on it - although splitting it the wat they did , I think, makes it clearer. The only thing I see that you could have done differently to clarify it would be to put "With" in front of his name. Or possibly have put his name before the rest of the title and the hyphen after it and before the title. Sometimes, our American English (and also British English) can just be confusing.
