7. Advocates of "Nothing but Nuclear" should check their own membership status in the Cult

Wind and Solar aren’t the bad guy here. They do not depend on fossil fuels. Use of wind and solar helps reduce the use of fossil fuels, and can eventually eliminate the need for fossil fuels. It is a transition.

You say,

"It is obvious that "investment" in so called "renewable energy" has only made things worse, not better. It shouldn't take too many brains to conclude that so called "renewable energy" has nothing to do with addressing the use of fossil fuels nor their effect on the climate. So what is the real purpose of this cult thinking?"

It is not obvious that investment in renewable energy has only made things worse. That is a ridiculous statement.
You might consider that nuclear energy has been around for a long time, but has not stopped climate change; it’s worse than ever. Does that mean nuclear energy isn’t clean energy? Of course not. Does that make it obvious that nuclear energy "has only made things worse, not better"? No, but that appears to be the kind of flawed logic you are applying in your critique of renewables.

Using the definition of a cult you provided, advocates of “Nothing but Nuclear” should probably check their own membership status.
