Monsoon Wedding [View all]

Was a beautiful Indian movie from 2001, I think.

One of the characters all of a sudden remember how the rich relative molested her as a child and is now ready to repeat it with a younger girl. And she finally had the courage to speak up.

In the end, the father of the bride, the guardian of the woman, asked the molester to leave the celebrations, and apologized to the woman - Ria - for not being there for her at the time.

A really powerful commentary.
