that I could find that were "brain games"--everything seemed to revolve around violence, combat, explosions, etc. when I would go into stores to try to find more mentally challenging games, I was treated as though I were nuts. especially when I asked for games designed by women.

don't know how much the situation has changed, but I doubt it has changed very much.
