Could you go to the emergency room? I’m wondering if after they see you they would admit you to the hospital and then possibly another stay at rehab since you have complications.

My sister had a spinal fusion a year ago. After release she had extreme pain so I took her to the emergency room and they gave her a shot of extremely strong meds after which her oral pain meds could then keep up with the pain. The doctor explained if the pain gets too bad oral pain meds can’t control it but after shot then they can maintain.

Keep us posted and sending you healing vibes!

Just remembered that once admitted in the hospital you have a legal right to appeal if you think you are being released too soon. The staff explained that to my husband each time he was in the hospital. 🩷
