4. It's a great joy to watch

I just started episode 4 and I'm enjoying every minute of it. It's filled with engaging characters, witty dialogue, crazy action, and imaginative sets and effects. Part of the fun for me is the main character, Monkey D. Luffy, reminds me of my nephew who is always positive and self-confident and encourages everyone else to be the same. I was loathe to watch it in the beginning because I feared it would be too self-indulgent and too enamored of its own quirkiness, like Good Omens or Mrs. Davis.
