I do a bunch of research before I pick a movie to watch. I check the IMDb score, read a few of the viewer's comments, and check the Rotten Tomatoes score. Even then, only about half of the movies are really good. The motto on my music blog is "I listen to a lot of crap, so you don't have to." My motto for my movie blog should be: "I watch a lot of mediocrity so you don't have to."

Be sure to have some Kleenex handy for this one.
