I had surgery for breast cancer last week, [View all]

and now I'm heading back for a second round next week. We had decided to do two lumpectomies, since both areas were very small Unfortunately, the final pathology report showed cancer cells in one of the margins of the smallest tumor. It will take much less time than last week, and I won't need to have wires inserted to guide the surgeon to the spot.

The best news is that the glands they removed were negative for cancer.

I am still confident that we are going to get his over and done for good!
