like a crab, and was diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis of both hips. He said it felt like his hips were rolling around in their sockets. The doc said that was exactly what was happening. He ended up getting two hip replacements and is now fine.

Have you considered that you may have a broken or cracked pelvis? If you are elderly, it can happen without a precipitating incident like a fall.

Go see a doc right away, if possible!
