The last psychiatrist I saw was a complete asshat. I was at the county place where they tossed a bottle of pills at me and then, after a three month wait, I got to see someone. He spent the entire time trying to get me to run out, get a job, and then go to his private practice and pay him for what he was supposed to be doing at that very moment. My inability to 'run out and get a job' was part of the reason I was there. After two 'sessions' of this, I let him have both barrels and walked out. (That is a metaphor, by the way. I did not scream or anything, but I guarantee that wall behind him was blistered when I left.) There is no help for 96% of the population because they cannot afford real help. So, I don't try anymore, because it will only lead to anger and despair. Not that I don't have plenty of that already, but why add to the inferno? That was 22 years ago.
