These are not good times and our nation has lost its way. My parents were born during the depression. They were both poor and their parents did they best they could. My parents never forgot where they came from and as they prospered they have always reached out to help others through the community programs and the local church (and my dad still does even with my mothers early stage dementia) My In laws are the same way with the same story. I was raised to believe that helping others was the way to live your best life. This message was not passed through to many in the generations that came after me. (please note I didn't say all). Greed and selfishness reign supreme, in the hands of a small but powerful privileged class, to the expense of the rest of us. I know that there are people out there trying to the right thing. I try to hold on to that. Blessings to all of you
