Toilet seat with wider ring? [View all]

We recently got an ADA height toilet, elongated. It came with a soft-close seat where the lid sort of drops over the edges of the seat ring (the donut part that you sit on) so that it conceals it for a cleaner look. Because the lid requires a bit of space to drop over the seat edge like that, the seat ring itself is a little bit narrower than it would otherwise be, only about 3 inches wide under the broadest part of your thigh, and getting even narrower towards the front of the seat. And most of that 3 inches curves away downward from your leg, so your weight's supported by even less of that width. We're looking for something a little wider/flatter that can offer more support -- or maybe just softer? -- but without sacrificing the other features of the seat.

Any ideas?
