5. I told a friend about it as an easy way to cover the worn scratched bottom of her end cabinet

She has a sliding door out to a porch right next to end of her oak cabinets that are otherwise in great shape except the wear and tear at the bottom of end cabinet due to pets and people going in and out. She put a sheet of fasade and it looks great and has held up well for past couple of years.
