Still, Dawn is amazing stuff. I buy it by the half gallon at Costco because even Power Scour isn't quite as good for scouring raw fleece. A cup of Dawn into the soaking water in the washer does the trick. Really greasy stuff like Merino take two soakings but is usually clean enough to dye after the second one.
