We have one of these. All of the consumables (fertilizer, pods/covers, and coir sponges being the main ones) can be sourced elsewhere, at a far cheaper price. I got comparable stuff last year via Amazon.

Start off at Amazon and then check other sites like gardening centers. You will find everything you need.

We contacted Miracle-Gro/AeroGarden to get a couple of pods that didn't germinate. This was in May 2020 or so. We filled out the form, and we got the replacement pods in a week or so.

There are TONS of videos on YouTube too!
