we said goodbye to Peanut on Friday (9/19) [View all]
He stopped everything (eating, drinking, even standing on his own or walking) early last week.
On Friday we decided he was suffering too much and called the vet.
His "quality of life" evaluation included an ultrasound which revealed cancer that had invaded his liver.
His nearly 16-year life brought us joy.

It's always so horrible when it's their time to go. If only they could live with us forever.
