Rescue lady brought salmon & tuna stinky wet food & I added a can of tuna to the trap, but no go...yet.

I've made it my business to keep the outside kitties extremely well fed, just like the rest of my family.

Rescue lady said it could be Sat or Sun before they are hungry enough to go into trap for food. Heartbreaking to see them hungry & not being able to stuff them with good food.

But I know it's for their own good.

Reminds me of when my Dad was actively dying in hospice & nurses kept catching my Mom trying to feed him, except his body was shutting down as a natural process. And these fur kids being hungry is far from normal, at least in my view. But I feel a similar discomfort to what she must've felt.

Ps - Am I becoming a crazy old cat lady?
